No matter how complex the problem you always believe you have the only answer
- They believe they understand without a doubt how the world works
- Hunter gather society had 300 or so products, in major economic areas i.e. NYC there are 10 billion
- Step back, find a systematic way to determine what is working and what is not
- Need to use trial and error
- 10% of American business disappear every year, American business trial and fail
- Being challenged can hurt, sometimes you need to be shocked out you comfort zone
- Make mistakes in a good direction as it is very difficult to make good mistakes
